Pretec today has announced the largest SD card to date. An amazing 8 gigabytes of memory. SD cards are taking an incredible jump.

The Pretec 8 GB SD-HC has twice the capacity of cards that have been announced by Panasonic, SanDisk, and Toshiba and means that the new SD cards will have competitive capacities when compare to the largest CompactFlash cards.
