I went up to my office and dropped off the keys. When I came back the camera was still unattended. I thought having a press microphone might be fun. I looked around for a while but I actually think that the guy riding the elevator on the way down with me was the man in charge of the camera. At least he finally gave me a strange look when it was apparent that I was lingering.

He’s the one who left the camera unattended outside so he could ride an elevator that at least takes you up 12 stories.

My guess it that the newscaster was going to be covering a story on the construction that has been going on in front of the building for nearly the entire summer. This is also the location of the new Dena’ina Civic and Convention Center that will be opening within the week.
