i just got my d3100. i was going to get an olympus ep1. i hope i made the right decision in choosing it over the olympus. Q: how can i use the camera timer in d3100 so that i can mount the camera to the tripod and take a photo with me in it?! hope u can help me w it. tnx

Hey Jared I just found your videos on here and their very helpful. I about to start working for RadioShack and wanted to get some camera info. I have a big electronics background but not so much with cameras, I’ve done some research but its hard to sift through the BS on the web. So what tips can you give me as a salesman so im not unintentionally lying to my customers, also what misconceptions have you encountered when working with sales people and what should I avoid.

JARED I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS one question, what is the max shutter speed for video on the Nikon d3100, i heard some canons can go to 60fps and i was wondering if thats possible on the Nikon D3100… thanks so much for all your hard work and effort!!!

@ma3dukan91 VR stands for “Vibration Reduction.” Basically, when it is turned on, the camera compensates for any camera shake from moving the camera.

@bpaynegoodphotos if you want a less expensive one,then go for the 55-200 VR($196 at best buy).

do you have any advice if i want to shoot video whit this caera but whit a shoot gun mic I DONT WANT TO MOVE TO CANON cause canon has the mic in
