What would you do with them if you could NOT upload them? Keep them in the camera forever?
Of course you can….. just get a little USB card reader.

What else can you do with a DSLR camera? How about taking photos?

If you are actually serious with these questions, you have a LOT to learn. Thankfully, there are tons of resources available.

Read your manual !!!! Read it several times, and practice in between.

Attend a class, read some books, read/watch online tutorials.

The major camera manufacturers (like Canon, Nikon, Olympus etc) all have very useful sections on their website for learning about photography.

Understanding at least the basic principles of photography (as well as being familiar with your camera) will enable you to make the most of your gear, and will make a HUGE difference to your images.

The DIY SLR: Machine Your Own Film camera
We at GeekTech have seen some pretty interesting things machined, including chess pieces, iPhone cases, and even car brakes. But a digital camera? French Hacker Denis MO over at Collection Appareils designed and machined his own functioning film single-lens reflex (SLR) camera.

1. yes – of course
2. I think the best other thing you should do is use it as a paper weight
3. read the manual which came with yours, read a book (heard of them?)

Nope… you sure can’t. The big ole stupid camera just holds onto those photos all it’s life and doesn’t let you do anything except look at them on that little monitor.

You also can never remove film from a film camera.

You can never put gas into a car after it runs out the first time.

You can’t ever open a letter once it is sealed.

Once you go out of your house and lock the door, you can never re-enter.

Oh… you wanted ALL the info about DSLR cameras. Actually, there has been little to nothing ever written about them in books or on the internet. It is just almost impossible to tell you all the info because information is so scarce and hard to come by. Most people just buy these things as a status symbol and don’t bother to try to learn to use it anyway. They really look cool hanging around your neck and you can go around telling people you are a “professional photographer”, even though it is not possible to upload photos from the camera to your computer.

you cant be bothered to read so many information…it’s a tragedy that you are too busy to actually learn anything.
