Great review. I have an 500D and i feel the need for something more powerful. I think 7D is the one for me.

I can’t decide between the 7D or D7000?
What do you guys think?

Hello, I am using canon 7d in my videos. You can check to see the quality :)

Hi Gordon. Are you able to extract an image from the movie clips to a still image with the canon eos 7D?

ctubblz on March 9th, 2011, 4:19 pm

I want to upgrade from my 550D, is it worth it and will Canon bring out a newer version of the 7D in the near future?

GMSamuelRhine on March 9th, 2011, 5:13 pm

vehlajatt22 on March 9th, 2011, 6:05 pm

canon’s best camera?

whitewingsrich on March 9th, 2011, 6:16 pm

You mentioned starting of with a good lens. I am a bit of a aircraft enthusiast and do a lot of my shooting at airshows & Airports. The two lenses i have are a 18-200 IS & 100-400 IS USM. Would you recommend these? Only reason i ask is that i have put a deposit on a 7D as an upgrade for my 400D. Would you class the 7D as a good Choice

Gordon… you are GOD.

focusmediaonline on March 9th, 2011, 7:19 pm

@1TuBe1983 I agree. I’ve had my 7D for about 8 months and am loving every minute.

Canon 7D

Drasarnia on March 9th, 2011, 8:28 pm

@Arrulify 5d mark ii, is full frame sensor, no noise in high ISO

1TuBe1983 on March 9th, 2011, 8:43 pm

@Arrulify By the way, If you go for the 7D, do make sure to take Gordon’s advice and purchase some good glass with it, otherwise you won’t enjoy its full potential.

1TuBe1983 on March 9th, 2011, 9:23 pm

@Arrulify It all depends on what you’re looking for. Both models have great image quality, but the 5D has the edge with its full frame sensor and 21mgp. However, you can only equip it with EF lenses, so make sure you can afford to pay the extra money, as the price range for this glass is dearer. Other than that, the 7D has the edge with most of its features i.e. Dual Digic 4 processor, more AF points and modes, faster burst rate, better options for video recording etc I’m very happy with my 7D.

Arrulify on March 9th, 2011, 9:59 pm

between 5d mark ii and 7d,which one is better?

happymeinindia on March 9th, 2011, 10:21 pm

how would you compare the Nikon D7000 with The canon 7D? in terms of image quality and overall performance, which one’s a better choice ?

miracleintheandes on March 9th, 2011, 10:57 pm

@jonnydturk u must be a fag to notice that

h2soccergod on March 9th, 2011, 11:36 pm
