canon eos 10d body are cheap on ebay right now,
Eos 20d are about £200 body only.

@botchity15 you should take a look at the EOS-1V, which was their best film camera ever. I may be interested in that camera my self…

so if there’s anyone who would seek my advise on what dslr to use as a newbee, i’d recommend the nikon d40 (that is according to my personal experience) after learning the ropes of photography, its your choice… i just happened to favor the 50d due to its fast shooting and 15.1mpx. its my taste.

now, deciding to up the ante, i’ll be owning a canon 50d bacause its a step above the nikon d40 i used. “why not the nikon d90″ you ask. its because i have chosen action photography as a specialization. according to my reseach, i concluded that the canon 50d fits me. i am no pro, but i’m getting there. i think both brands (canon and nikon) are awesome in their own rights. as a beginner, i started with a nikon d40 mainly because its cheaper here in the philippine. the D40 served me pretty well, and has helped me in my toughest times as a photography student. (to be continued…)

Lol, I got my lens’s IS fixed a week ago. The IS looks so cool(they gave the broken IS back to me).

I have been using my father’s old film 75-300 lens- the non IS lens is obvious… I love my 20d… the best thing is the EF lenses are all backwards compatible.
