Kodak cameras are good. And if you want more time for videos then you just need to get a bigger memory card…

I have 2 digital cameras. My first one was the Kodak Easy Share ($ 200 but that was like 5 or 6 years ago)- now, I live in Rochester, New York, which as you may or may not know is the home of Kodak. It sucks. Yes, it takes a beautiful picture, of a house or still life… but I have a now 7 year old son. When I take a picture of him, its usually a blur because the camera won’t process the taking of the picture very quickly. Huge delay between the button being pushed and the actual shutter closing. It also eats batteries, even after its been sitting on the damm charger. My husband has an Aptek – camera/video – cost $ 99 bucks 2 years ago – I love that one. Now, we also have a Sony that my husband does not own, but they use it at Waste Management where he works. That one takes good pictures. Go to someplace like Best Buy or Circuit City or a photo shop that has a variety for you to look at and compare. After you decide what you want, you can search for the best price.

I work in a camera shop and if you are looking for something that does good video. Currently the Casio P-505 is a full screen DVD quality Mpeg-2 video capable digital camera that can take almost 45 minutes on a 1GB SD card. I know current price at Ritz Camera is $ 169.99.

Awesome camera at an even better price.
