Do news anchors have to wear dressy pants or skirts if you can’t see their legs on camera?
Question by Lepke: Do news anchors have to wear dressy pants or skirts if you can’t see their legs on camera?
Always wondered about this. Do they just show up in jeans and a dressy top or are they completely dressed in a business like outfit even if you can’t see their legs on camera? Thanks.

I would say the majority wear dressy pants. They would obviously not wear skirts!

i heard that some of them even wear pj pants when they have to be in front of camera at 5 in the morning. they are like too sleepy so they dont have time. sometimes i heard that they also wear slippers or flip flops..
Most anchors due to the fact that they may have to move around the sound stage wear dressy clothes. There are some that stay in one spot at their desks and will wear jeans or something that is comfortable for them.
