First day experimenting with the Nikon D40

Friday 11th May will go down in my history when I got my first Digital SLR
camera the Nikon D40. That same night I went experimenting with it around
town. Though I still had a lot to learn about the setting and features of
the camer.

Nice photo. Have you used any tripod/monopod to avoid bluriness? As I am looking to buy a Nikon d40, I am interested in its low-light photography. I can see some grain on the sky. This I think is due to using ISO 800.

thanks. No, I haven’t used any tripod/monopod.. I was plainly experimenting with the camera and low light as this was my first day with it.
