Is A Nikon SLR Or A Canon SLR Better?
Question by Johnnie: Is A Nikon SLR Or A Canon SLR Better?
I need to find out whether Nikon or Canon is better. I already have a Nikon SLR, and and two Nikon lenses, and they work great. I want to buy a new camera, one with better quality. Which one has more features and a better quality? Nikon, or Canon?

They are both excellent cameras.
Changing systems is not only expensive, but learning the difference is operation and the differences in the way the light meters work, can slow you down when shooting assignments until you develop an intuitive relationship with your new system
I would think by now (having had some experience with SLR’s) you would know that the cameras has nothing to do with the quality of your images, but your skills in using it.
The camera at this time which has the lowest noise at high ISO’s, is the Nikon D3.
Chasing the “better” camera to improve your image quality is going to be expensive. You may want to enhance you shooting skills by taking an advanced photo class.
Take some time to read this link. It will help you with your choices.

there isn’t a whole lot of difference just personal preference I would go with Nikon since you already have two Nikon lenses
i have tried all the SLR cameras , Nikon , Canon and Sony ….. both canon and nikon gets the highest marks and they are amazing and very similar .
the only advantage you get from having a canon is the wide range of lenses you can get with it and the price options can suit any budget .
now i use the EOS 450D , and i have 5 lenses each for a different purpose , i am not prof , but still i can afford a good quality lenses every time with canon .
but photo wise , i promise you nikon and canon stand side by side .
