Nikon D200 or D80
I will be purchasing a digital SLR this next week and have narrowed it down to the Nikon D200 or D80. Both great cameras and I am leaning towards the cheaper D80 since the differences to the mid level photographer don’t warrant an extra $600.
Also the $600 saved by purchasing the Nikon D80 instead of the D200 will be well spent towards some additional lenses for the Nikon D80.
What do you think… the Nikon D80 or Nikon D200?

Thank you very much for the comment. I too was considering purchasing a Canon TX1 from quest4cameras.com; I decided against it for two reasons: 1) they do not post their physical address on their site anywhere (try the “about”, “contact us” pages… nothing). From their area code I found they ’seem’ to be based out of Queens, NY. 2) Your comment regarding the experience with them - if they have a internet site, what are they doing trying to sell you over the phone!!?? Confirm the sale, and be done with it. Scary site indeed.
