I doubt alot that 1,5 years after the release of the D-200 they will take out a D300. I doubt alot that they will change the production line after half the time of the D-100, that costs alot of money and as faar as Nikon history goes in digital it is usually 3 years for the new model. I wold not expect for it untill the fall of 2008. An other thing is the D3. The D2 is widely outdated by the Canon versions and as the flag ship of Nikon it is important to estabilize if not recuperate some of the pro-market. So I can believe that Nikon my present this fall the D3, that it will be a 1x or 1.1x CCD or mor probably a JFET LBCAST sensor, similar to a CMOS.
