Someone once described this camera as a "Baby Nikon F4." 1/8000th top shutter speed, 1/250th sync speed, "FX" full-frame 135 format. Motor drive shoots at a top speed of 3.3 frames per second. Robust plastic and metal construction. Informative viewfinder. Support for AF and manual-focus lenses. Matrix, centerweighted and spot metering. This is very much a professional-grade SLR.
