Polaroid CAA-330RC 3.0 MP Digital Camera with 1.5-Inch LCD (Red)

I bought this camera for my 5yr old son, because I wanted a cheap camera that he could use to get the experience of taking pictures. Well this camera was perfect for that. Not a lot of complicated settings to mess with, just basically point and shoot. The picture quality is ok for a 5yr old, but not for a person looking to actually print some quality pictures for lasting memories. The Camera itself is rather light and feels like it can break easily. I don’t expect it to last long before my son breaks it, but time will tell.
I’m not a professional photographer, but I have been taking photos for over 30yrs and consider myself an above average photographer. And in my opinion if you are looking for a relatively decent point and shoot camera for yourself, you will have to spend a little more money. This camera is strictly for kids, and i’m satisfied with it for my son.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my Mother, its fairly easy to use and it doesn’t have a lot of knobs and buttons so its perfect for her.
Cons:
This camera doesn’t have zoom… Yeah, no zoom at all. I wasn’t expecting a lot of things, but the zoom is not one of those.
Another thing i noticed is that the little plastic that covers the sd card kinda broke off when i opened it to insert an sd card, the plastic now dangles there.
If you’re into photograph and want nice looking pics, then buy another camera, pictures come out kinda grainy. Pictures come out on a raiting of 6/10.
Pros:
Very cheap. 50 dlls w/free shipping
Records video w/audio.
Very easy to use for people who are not tech savvy and/or dont mind the quality of pictures.
I would buy this camera again for my mother, but i would buy a better one for myself.

I bought this camera for my 19 year old daughter and so far its ok. Its lightweight and portable but the picture quality is not as great as it should be. This is not a camera that I would recommend for people who take a lot of pics but its a great gift for children and teens.

I bought this camera and it works wonderful. It has zoom which is a great plus. It takes great pictures which is good. One thing tho is that my computer doesn’t recognize the USB cable which is fine because I have an SD card anyway. Another thing I didn’t realize is that it takes AAA batteries because I didn’t read the whole thing (my fault). I am thinking about buying this camera for my mom because it is fairly simple to use. It is small which is great cuz it fits in my pants pocket and the pocket on the side of my purse perfectly. I love it also because it is easy to use and it fits in the palm of my hand. I love Polaroid. I have 3 old polaroids from many years ago and if I get another camera, its going to be another Polaroid.

I got this camera for my 9 year old son. He was so excited to get it until it came time for me to grab the pictures off of it to download them to the computer. My computer did not recognize the USB drive and the only drivers the camera came with was for Windows 98. I can’t even comment yet on how the picture quality is because I haven’t been able to view them. I also noticed that with the few pictures he had taken the battery life was already low. So I know I’m going to be spending major bucks on buying batteries. And now I have to spend money on an SD card and a card reader because that is the only way I will be able to view and save the pictures. So what I thought would be an inexpensive fun camera for my son to use has now turned into a frustration and more money spent than I had initially wanted.
