russia086 on November 4th, 2010, 6:23 pm

@c0LdPlayR0cKs i am asking this 4 months and nobody tells me!!!

EdgarCorona on November 4th, 2010, 6:45 pm

My Super Steady Shot is broken and now all my photos are misaligned from the viewfinder. If this were a Canon the SSS would be built into the lens and not the camera body. Fucking bad idea, this is.

It’s like an Mac’s webcam going out— you have to send the whole damn thing in to get it fixed.

Don’t get this shit. Stick with Canon or Nikon.

c0LdPlayR0cKs on November 4th, 2010, 7:11 pm

Would you recommend the a200 or the canon eos 400D?

mihaisorin2000 on November 4th, 2010, 7:30 pm

Me too!!

It`s awsome!!

Hi im new to photograpy and im thinking of buying a dslr what should i get for £300 or less and the lenses are a reasonable price? thanks

cutterschoicenotmine on November 4th, 2010, 9:12 pm

i dunno, your better saving your money now and going for a canon 1000d or maybe a 550 if u fancy saving more. the lack of movie mode and high raw processing times along with some what high noise at 800+ iso makes this camera a little bit old now.

@Cagey75

Search for the pentax D2000 (the white one)

jameslove1 on November 4th, 2010, 9:47 pm

Mate what you are talking about is a ‘jack-of-all-trades’ glitchy gadget. This is a professional DSLR camera, which costs a lot of money.

ReallyHaylee on November 4th, 2010, 10:05 pm

I got this cameria last year for my birthday. I don’t really know anything about it but I think it sucks. I wish it could record

Cagey75 on November 4th, 2010, 11:04 pm

Seriously considering one. Who says it’s ugly? i think it’s pretty solid looking. better looking than a pentax at least!

wholesaleelectronic on November 4th, 2010, 11:18 pm

why buy a camera and just take pictures. buy a 9 in one and take picture, video, listen to mp3′s, mp4′s, voice recording, webcam, mass storage all in one!

That camera looks damn awful. Eyepiece is a nightmare of course that could be replaced. Hopefully. Better get this camera than d40.

excalabus on November 5th, 2010, 3:23 am

I have expanded my knowledge of this camera since the time of my previous posting, so I am no longer in need of assistance. Thanks anyway.

Schneeerich on November 5th, 2010, 4:17 am

what lense do u have on it ? Kit-Lense ?
which programm do u use: Auto, P, and so on?

Sungkawa on November 5th, 2010, 4:22 am

it’s a nice Cam i one to !
what I like most about it is that it is compatible with old Minolta AF lenses so you can purchase cheap lenses for it and they work perfectly!

excalabus on November 5th, 2010, 4:54 am

I have this camera, and being somewhat new to photography, I was wondering if you could help me with a query. I have noticed that the exposures take quite a long time. Even with the shutter speed being capable of up to 1/4000, the camera rarely goes beyond 1/100 indoors in normal lighting, and 1/300 outdoors on a bright day. Would you consider this to be normal for this camera, or some sort of issue to adress, because as I see it, it is not performing as it should.

1mog3n on November 5th, 2010, 5:49 am

Now I know where i’m getting mine… I didn’t realise they sold them!!

dunkmack on November 5th, 2010, 6:03 am

good choice sir.

masticina on November 5th, 2010, 6:31 am

I agree low light performance is very nice. Just don’t raise the ISO to high ;)
