Wanted to take a typical amateur shot..because technically, I am one. Although my first SLR was back about 10+ years ago, obviously it wasn’t a digital SLR.
This was a very late birthday gift from the hubby.
And my new toy. He even let me splurge on a 16GB SD.
(Which will not doubt mean nothing in a few years.)
From a Canon Rebel G, to a Canon A95, then to this thing…so cool!

Congrats! I hear ya on the way back. I was taking pics on my first SLR back in *ahem* the late 70′s. Doh!
Yes…back when camera’s were made to last! They were heavy, sturdy and great in quality.
I can’t wait to get going…what’s taking me so long?

Between school and work, yes it’s busy this semester. It"ll lighten up soon.
My new camera is simply the same except that it’s "digital" and that it may have a few more cool features.The only "complex" thing right now is managing my time.
