I am still trying to figure out how to go from Bronica 2 1/4 film to digital. I have nikon 35mm now. Will these lens fit any pro Nikon digital cameras that I can use in the studio?

Yes, Nikon AF lenses will work on Nikon digital SLRs.

However, most Nikon digital SLRs have physically smaller sensors, so that your lens has a 1.5x focal length multiplier–so that your 28-200mm lens will suddenly become an effective 42-300mm lens. In other words, you lose the wideness with this lens.

The only Nikon Digital SLR that doesn’t have the multiplier is the new Nikon D3. On that camera, the lens will keep it’s focal length.

My suggestion: unless you can afford the new D3, you’re better off with a camera like the D80 or D200, saving the money for a lens like the 18-200mm lens, which will give you back your wideness. And your 28-200 will still work with those cameras, with a different effective set of focal lengths.

Personally, I wouldn’t go with your 28-200mm lens for studio work; try the 17-55 f/2.8 DX lens or the Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 lenses instead.
