The detail on this is incredible. What a wonderfully level photo. I especially like the steam/smoke coming from the buildings on the left. The two hills forms parallel diagonals to keep the eye moving in this still life.

Is that lens flare, extra developer, or a jpg artifact on the upper right?

lens flare, it was imposible to see it with infrared filter on, it is too dark for my taste and hard to control.

Oh, the infamous IR filter. Where was the light source. this looks like a very long exposure.

Not very long, just 1 second. I’m looking to East with the sun on my right.

Ah, the sun is on your right, explains a little flare…

wow i love it. my fav. the flare is a nice touch too. nice selection and view. woulda framed off the bottom a lil tho.
